New improvements made in Braina version 1.84/1.841 are as follows:

  1. New commands for dictation mode:
    • No Punctuate that: Context sensitive command that removes punctuation symbols (.,?!-) from the last dictated sentence/phrase or the selected text. Useful when auto-punctuation makes a mistake.
    • Cap <word>: Capitalizes the specified <word> on the left/up side of the text cursor in the document.
    • Cap down <word>: Capitalizes the specified <word> on the right/down side of the text cursor in the document.
    • Lower <word>: Converts the specified <word> on the left/up side of the text cursor in the document to lower case.
    • Lower down <word>: Converts the specified <word> on the right/down side of the text cursor in the document to lower case.
    • Select <word>: Selects the last occurrence of the specified <word> in the document.
    • Select up <word>: Selects the specified <word> on the left/up direction from the text cursor in the document.
    • Select down <word>: Selects the specified <word> on the right/down direction from the text cursor in the document.
  2. Many to 1 mappings for custom commands and voice recognition aliases

    Now you can specify multiple custom command names / alias names for a single value. You can use the || or <or> delimiters to do the needful.

    For example, while creating a custom command, you can enter Open Facebook || Open FB <or> FB as a command name with value open https://www.facebook.com

    Now you can use “Open Facebook”, “Open FB” or “FB” to open Facebook website without having to create three separate custom commands for each of the different command name.

  3. Edit custom command and voice recognition alias names: Now you can also edit/update the existing custom command and voice recognition alias names along with the values.

  4. Option to enable/disable auto punctuations for speech recognition

    Option to enable or disable auto punctuations for speech recognition engines that support this feature.

  5. “Copy previous reply text” command

    This command works like “copy previous reply” command and copies Braina’s previous reply but without the HTML tags.

  6. Press escape key (Esc) to make Braina stop speaking/reading.

    You can press Esc key to make Braina stop reading text or speaking. You can also use Stop reading or Stop speaking voice commands when using online speech recognition.

  7. Multiline text input for custom commands, voice recognition aliases and custom replies

    Up to 9 lines of command script is now allowed for custom commands.
